Haier Group is a multinational consumer electronics and home appliances company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong, People's Republic of China. Its products include air conditioners, mobile phones, computers, washing machines, refrigerators and televisions. In 2010 the Haier brand had the world's largest market share in white goods, with 6.1 per cent.



The Carrier Corporation is the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and a global leader in the commercial refrigeration and food service equipment industry. A wholly owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, Carrier is a $12.5 billion company with over 43,000 employees serving customers in 170 countries on six continents.




Voltas Limited is an engineering, air conditioning and refrigeration company based in Mumbai, India. It offers engineering solutions for a wide spectrum of industries in areas such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration, construction equipment, materials handling, water management, building management systems, indoor air quality and chemicals.Voltas is a part of the Tata Group. The managing director is Mr. Sanjay Johri. Its shares are traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange under symbol 500575 with a turnover of 4300 Crore ($920,200,000 USD) in 2008-09.


Hitachi, Ltd. is a Japanese multinational corporation specializing in high-technology and services headquartered in Marunouchi 1-chome, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The company is the parent of the Hitachi Group (Hitachi Gurūpu) as part of the larger DKB Group companies. Hitachi is the third largest technological company by revenue as of 2009.On the 2007 Forbes Global 2000 list, Hitachi was ranked number 371.



Whirlpool Corporation  is a Fortune 500 company and a global manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances with its headquarters in Benton Charter Township, Michigan, United States, near Benton Harbor, Michigan. The company has annual revenue of approximately $18.4 billion, more than 70,000 employees, and more than 70 manufacturing and technology research centers around the world. The company markets Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Gladiator Garage Works, Inglis, Estate, Brastemp, Bauknecht, Consul, and other major brand names to consumers in nearly every country around the world.
After acquiring the Maytag Corporation on March 31, 2006, Whirlpool Corporation passed Electrolux to become "the largest home appliance maker in the world."
